Happy Birthday not define their music as a fusion, as their songs range from jazz-funk to rock-pop ( out there is a clear reference to Screaming Headless Torsos on guitar the song "Standing Dog"), vocalist Ximena Sariñana denotes varied influences, as can be Björk and jazz singers like Ella Fitzgerald, this is a project that I personally I really enjoy, the music is well structured and executed, and feel a mood of innocence over the cuts.
